Objectives :
Smart Clinic is one of the initiatives of Smart Hospital. It involves multiple innovative projects to streamline the workflow in ENT SOPC service. The structure of project designed is based on promoting patient centered care experience throughout the clinic journey. The key milestone include enhancing patient safety, promoting environmental friendliness and improving staff and patient satisfaction.
Methodology :
Develop a realistic project plan with outline, objective and schedule. Team members participate in project design and modification of clinic workflow. Liaise with smart projects coordinator to arrange on-site visit for installation and budget estimation. On-site training has been provided for staff with immediate problem solving. Regular review and update the progress throughout the project.
Result & Outcome :
Patients benefit from (1) Transparent and clear information & instructions. (2) Facilitate patient’s health engagement and management. (3) Mobile payment, registration and real time queuing anywhere. Clinic benefits from (1) Streamline workflow improve quality, standards and completeness of informed consent documentation (2) Closed-loop communication, timestamps and documentation shared in CMS for e-lab result screening and e-PAF (3) A paperless solution for consultation including referral and private document scanning and upload to CMS (4) e- Vitals in SOPC self-help station, the real-time data will be sent to CMS via IoT devices and cloud technology. Easy retrieval of vital signs readings in CMS Corporate benefits from the operational data for service improvement.
